Tonight SBS6 will be broadcasting the Superbowl live on television in the Netherlands. It's not only the game but also entertainment with artists and dont forget the the commercials which I hope they will be broadcasted too here on tv.

SBS6 isnt showing the superbowl commercials but as you could have guessed the boring dutch commercials.... Lucky we have a satelite receiver so we don't have to miss out on those good commercials and we don't have to listen to dutch commentary *yeah*.
Today was a great gadget day. First I had to get the parcel with my new Loox 600 pda in it at the postoffice. And later today at the office we finaly got our xmas gift, a mp3 player (Archos Jukebox 6gb). So now its playtime for me.
I ordered the loox 600 yesterday and today I found a note in my mailbox that I can pick up the parcel with the loox at the postoffice tomorrow :) that means a lot of playing tomorrow.
Yesterday (sunday) I sold my IpaQ to a friend who really wanted to have it. So I've started to use my old palm M105 again. But after 24 hours I've noticed that I do like pocketpc a lot more then palm OS.... so I went on a search for a new PDA with a lot of extra's and with pocketpc of course. And I found one! I am going to get the Loox 600 from Fujitsu Siemens. Think I am going to order it tomorrow online, so that I have a new toy to play with by the end of the week. Anyone any experience with this PDA?

A week before Xmas I ordered some books @ Amazon. Today the postman presented them to me at 9.30 am (he was lucky that I was still at home AND opened the door:). I had to pay about 7 euro extra for taxes to the postman...... I wish the dutch Customs would go hunt drugsmugglers or something like that instead of checking little parcels with books for nice & honest people! The paperwork and time costs more then the 7 stupid euro's. Next time I just order 2 books instead of 5! *be warned*
After watching LOTR which took of course 3 hours I can say I find this part better then the first part. Now I can't hardly wait untill part 3 is out to see how it's going to end. No I am not going to read the book :) Does anyone know when part 3 is due?
Last night the site of Riaa (Recording Industry Association of America)
was hacked again. Their site has been hacked several times the last few months. The RIAA's role as the music industry's voice against digital piracy makes it an obvious target.

This week I decided to do my grocery shopping online at AH online. As delivery time I did put down on friday between 7 and 9 pm. So at 10 past 7 this dude was here to bring my grocery shopping from the little truck into the house. He had some crates and some bags with the ordered shopping stuff, we paid, he left. Just after he left we decided unpack and put the stuff where it is supposed to be.... while unpacking we noticed there were a few things missing, to be honest about 25% of the shopping. When this happens you are supposed to call the service center, they promissed me to call the delivery dude and get the other stuff delivered later in the evening.
After 3 calls (from which being 20 minutes waiting/on hold)and almost 3 hours later, this service center confessed that this dude screwed up good, I wasn't the only customer complaining about missing stuff. As they couldn't plan us in for the next day (today) they wrote down the missing articles and we will get our money back for it. But this means I have to go grocery shopping today *sigh* and just because I don't want to do that I ordered online.......
I wonder if that delivery dude still has a job? :]
Today I runned into a new virus at work, called W32/sobig-a. It was rather strange cause at the time of infection it was a not yet know virus, but we noticed that the computer was sending out a lot of emails to all of it addresses found in the addressbook and cache. 2 hours after that I got a Sophos new virus warning.... and that was about that virus. Lucky we unnetworked the infected machine within 10 minutes after infection so as far as we can see no other machine in the network was infected :)
This is what I feel I've been doing this week. It's been busy at work which means I get home aroun 7.30 pm then we have to make and eat dinner and then I am so tired that I fall in sleep on the sofa while watching TV.... I hope next week will be better and that I have more *free* time to spend here.
This morning before I went to the office I was typing something for my weblog, just when I was ready and pressed save (which puts it on my weblog) the adsl connection stopped working...... AARRGGH :) Good that I have also cable internet, and there I found out that I am not the only one with adsl problems atm.
Hopefully KPN can figure out what is wrong and maybe fix it today?
One of the things I do not like that much is cleaning, and R. shares that with me. So once in a while I get fed up with all the stuff that is lying around and I start cleaning.... and when I do that I am not a good mood, so better not come close :) But the bad mood goes away when I see progress, the result or someone gives me nice compliments. There I went cleaning, but at least the house looks a lot better now after cleaning parts of it the last few days. I even smell like cleaning stuff *brrrr*. I will try my best to keep it this clean (this is a promiss I make myself everytime after cleaning :).
If I had known before that Ghost World was such a great movie I would have gotten the DVD much earlier or even went to the cinema to see the movie. I saw myself back in Enid when I was in my (late) teenager years, the way she acts and thinks. This DVD will stay in my collection for a long long time and is going to be watched again and again :)
Now I am on a mission to find myself a Enid doll (or even more then 1 :)

A few weeks ago I got sick after eating a chickenwings menu from Al Capones (posted here also). I complained to the company and guess what, I got my money back for the complete order we made that evening, and the next time (which is going to take a while I think) we can order for free :)
Although that I was sick of the food the service is okay, didn't expect to get my money back at all.
Thanx to R. I got the Adam's Family first episode (aired 28 dec. 2002) in mpeg. I am gonna make a vcd of it for my own collection/archive and I will put it on a VHS tape for my sister and her friends&family who couldn't watch it in Belgium.

Tonight I went to a shoppingmal (Hilvertshof) in Hilversum where they have a store that sells Mac magazines, but it was closed. That means I probably have to wait till next week before I can go and get my (english/american) mac magazines....
But as we were walking past the Freerecordshop (music/moviestore) R. and I couldn't resist ourself and bought some DVD's :) here is the list with the IMDB scores:

Just got home from spending new years eve with my sister and family in Belgium. I did send an I-mode message to this log when we were driving back home in the car, it took a while to get a connection with KPN due to mobile network problems that are due to the free calling between midnight and 3 AM. That is very clever of them because even if it's not free I think the network would have problems, and by making 3 hours free it keeps a lot of people who normaly would complain and want their money back quiet :) Smart smart move KPN. Not so smart is that the alarm number 112 (the dutch 911) wasn't (or still isn't) working in Zeeland. I will be going to bed soon, I am very very tired because of the lack of sleep the last few nights. Wish everyone the best for this year.
